Brian, i watched their test game at Historicon…love the figures. I am thinking about getting some to mix in with my Slaughterloo project.

Phil, I played two great games of Fireball Forward at a convention a few years ago. Seemed like good rules and the game moved along.

The camp uniforms really show the effectiveness when placed in natural terrain like this.

Josh, no event list yet…it usually comes out about this time so I am keeping my eyes open.

A fine layout, indeed! My son is now 20 and I have some great memories of him rolling 6s vs me.

@Keith Mount I usually have about 25 units a side, playing solo. I have a big (12’x7’) table.

@Josh Austin They are….the line if from Alternative Armies. They do a fantasy black powder range that is Tolkien meets Napoleonics….Elves are the French, Dwarves are Prussians, Orcs are Brits….these dogs are Austrians. They are characterful figures, chunky…my painting does not do them justice. They have skirmish rules (Flintloque) and mass battle (Slaughterloo). I use the figs but play with the Field of Battle (3ed) rules.

Since we did not get in the 1939 game, I spent some time at the painting table working on my Slaughterloo figures. Still to be varnished and based (when I finish the next batch).

Painting up horses for my Slaughterloo armies...I hate painting horses...even though I am a cavalryman. Ironic. I also got in a solo game of 5 Parsecs from Home...great little sci fi game.
