John forgot to mention that I actually got a "kill" with one of my bomber tail gunners!

I still got the chief's wife! She won't shut up, and John won't take her back! I think returning her to rightful control should be an objective in the next scenario!

Bill Cloer came over to Brian's library one night two-three years ago on the way to his night shift work at the North Cape May Acme, to teach me the rudiments of DA. I had gone to the time, trouble, and expense to get a model western town and some spicy add ons, together with several posses, to begin learning a game that intrigued me with its Old West, fantasy, steampunk flavor. . He did a good job breaking me in (and beating me). Bill's in Tulsa, OK, with his family, now, trying to break into the job market. But I have good strong memories of his unselfish giving of time to teach me some rules sets like DA. He and Christine also ran one very fine model assembly and painting enterprise which I fondly dubbed, the "Skunkworks," named after a real world army-established imagination and chop-shop fabrication agency in Fort Lewis, WA, where real-world requirements were speedily being met by using available parts in new configurations, especially for special ops units. I will always be indebted to the Cloer's for their help and support in getting me back in the TT gaming world.

That reminds me: Hey, Keith & Josh, when are we going to do some 'rumble in the Central American jungle'! My Aztecs have not been blooded, ? And I got both the Quetzlacoatl and the Ayer!! You guys getting anywhere with the Mayas? Tribal Nations? Incas? Just bugging yah, that's all.

I am amazed at the ingenuity, creativity, and scope the ---naut game culture can spawn. 30K? Squadhammer? Badab? Mighty Empires? Youse guys are teaching this old dog some new tricks! Meanwhile, I am crunching away, building a Dark Templar 40K Force and, yes, everyone get your smelling sauce . . . Orks! I have invested in a KillDakka army!!!! Love the New York accent these guys allegedly use: Let's go to Waaagh! Am starting "Warhammer lessons" (Sounds like I am taking piano lessons, huh?) with Ted Nagel and intend to slide into the mainstream culture at his Little Bitz store in the Villas, now and then. I have found some Warhammer 3rd Ed Dark Elders, too. And I am going to find a way to work in my box of Skaven Plague Monks (mah 'nasty rats) into the scene--they worship the dark god, Nurgle (See, I am already getting into the lore!).
