I think I saw a sign at their booth that the miniatures, or brigades, were 15% or 20% off for November (I can't remember which). If you're still interested, maybe it'd be worth calling back? I can say that, according to the games' designer who was running the scenario, it's mostly designed to be played on a 4'x4' with both playing in charge of a brigade of 4-6 units, so a brigade would be enough to play.

They'd be great. I compared the Munchkin minis to some RSM Seven Years War Austrian infantry and they'd be perfect as halflings for any 28mm game.

I'd say they are. Card are for magic (by faction), Blessings (one time, once-per-turn bonuses) and Devotions (secret secondary missions). Tokens are good for reminding spell bonuses and objective markers.

@Josh Austin I do have some ideas: -We could use individual 10mm minis on pennies for various sized "armies" (1 base = 500 points, so moving 3 bases together would give you 1,500 points to spend in a game). -We could also designate bases between "Scouting" (Erehwon games) and "Regimental" (Warmaster games) troops. Scouting troops always retreat when Regimental troops enter the same hex. When Scouting or Regimental troops meet each other, that's a game. -Movement should be altered by base type and amount. So Scouting bases are faster than Regimental bases, and a group of three bases of one type would move faster than a group of four bases of the same type. -I'm guessing you've already thought of it, but certain spots should give minor bonuses, or special items -Maybe we could have wandering monsters?
